Richard Webber has always loved a good welcome speech.
When *Grey's Anatomy* premiered on March 27, 2005, Richard (James Pickens Jr.) walked the incoming class of interns — complete with Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Cristina (Sandra Oh), Alex (Justin Chambers), George (T.R. Knight) and Izzie (Katherine Heigl) — into one of the hospital's operating rooms and gave them a reality check.
On Thursday's new episode of the long-running drama series — which serves as the show's 450th hour — Richard gives that same speech to a new class of interns.
** has an exclusive look at the pilot callback as Richard says, "Look around you. Say hello to your competition. Eight of you will switch to an easier specialty. Five of you will crack under the pressure. Two of you will be asked to leave. This is your starting line. This is your arena. How well you play, well that's up to you."

Although Richard, Bailey (Chandra Wilson), and Meredith remain the only three regulars on the series from that first episode, there's still plenty of faces that fans know and love as the show continues on its 22nd season, which suffered a devastating loss in its premiere.
