COPS have been pressured to shut London's iconic Tower Bridge this afternoon after it was swarmed by pro-Palestine protesters who let off flares and disrupted visitors.

Metropolis of London Police confirmed the incident around 5.40pm.
A press release on X (formerly Twitter) read: "Tower Bridge is at present closed as a consequence of protest activity. Officers are in attendance on the scene."
At 6.26pm, the bridge had "reopened".
A police spokesperson confirmed to The Solar that the bridge was closed for about 45 minutes.
They added that each one protesters had been cleared from the world and added it was unlikely the bridge must be closed again.
No accidents or arrests have been reported.
