With the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 final around the corner, it's time to get out the sweepstakes.
The semi-finals – which took place on Tuesday and Thursday – made all our Eurovision dreams come true with the suitably weird and wonderful we've come to expect from this cultural extravaganza.
Held in Malmo, Sweden after the UK hosted the festivities last year in Liverpool, this year is making some noise, alright.
In a tense semi-final week the UK's act Olly Alexander wowed audiences with his track Dizzy, Ireland have beat their historic semi-final losing streak with the incredible Bambie Thug, and Croatia's Baby Lasagna act has established itself as a firm bookie favourite.
Poland's Luna, Iceland's Hera Björk, Moldova's Natalia Barbu, Azberbaijan's Fahree feat IIkin Dovlatov and Australia's Electric Field did not make it through Tuesday's semi-final.
In the second semi-final held on Thursday, Israel controversially made it to the final – taking place on Saturday 11 May – alongside Austria, Armenia, The Netherlands, Latvia, Norway, Greece, Georgia and Estonia.
Due to their significant financial backing of the competition, the 'big five' countries – France, Italy, Spain, Germany and the UK – get an automatic entry into the final and didn't have to qualify like everyone else.
Sweden also automatically get a place in the final in recognition of their win last year.
However, a free pass doesn't mean they will do well – as we well know – and if we've learnt one lesson about Eurovision over the years, it's that anything can happen.

Then it's time to decide on the stakes – you could all put in £1, £2 or more each, depending on how much you are willing to part with.
You'll then need to cut out each finalist country, and divide them evenly between your party by blindly picking them out of a hat.
Whoever has the winning contestant will win the money pot at the end. Lucky them!
What are the odds of my sweepstake winning?
This year's UK entry – Years & Years singer Olly – isn't tipped to do too well this year, with Ladbrokes giving him a ricky 66/1 odds of winning, and 5/1 odds of finishing last.
There is also a 12/1 chance of the UK receiving the dreaded nil points. Ouch.
The UK is not Ladbrokes' least likely act to win, though. It might be a bad idea to place your earnings on Malta (500/1), Lativa (500/1), San Marino (300/1) and Portugal (300/1).
After Baby Lasagna, the second most likely to win – according to the bookies – is Switzerland's Nemo and song The Code (10/3) with Italy third most likely to be crowned winner, followed by Ukraine, The Netherlands and Ireland.
