Kimia Yousofi competed in the women's 100m sprint event at Paris 2024 on Friday representing Afghanistan. The 28-year-old - who is one of six athletes competing for Afghanistan at this summer's Olympic Games - finished ninth in her heat in a time of 13.42 seconds. After the race, she removed the paper name tag from the front of her shirt, turned it around and revealed a short but powerful message.
