Jamie Carragher explains why he expects Trent Alexander-Arnold to be 'worried' into signing a new Liverpool contract amid interest from Real Madrid
Jamie Carragher is confident that Trent Alexander-Arnold will still be a Liverpool player next season. Alexander-Arnold, 26, joined the Reds way back in 2004 when he began his junior career at the club. After captaining Liverpool at various youth levels, Alexander-Arnold made his first-team debut as an 18-year-old in 2016 and he has since racked up 325 senior appearances for his hometown club. But Alexander-Arnold is one of three big-name players, along with Mo Salah and Virgil van Dijk, whose current contracts at Anfield are due to expire on June 30 next year.
