Manchester United's bid to sign Mathys Tel from Bayern Munich is at a standstill after they had two offers rejected today. Arsenal remain the background to sign the France international who had rejected Tottenham on Friday. United were given encouragement that the 19-year old wanted to join them but they have been unable to find a solution with Bayern over a loan deal and payment terms and a resolution is now considered 'unlikely'.
