Their head of rugby Johann van Graan had rested his first-choice players with a home play-off spot already sealed and a Challenge Cup final to come. But that didn't detract from the action at Principality Stadium. Cardiff was awash with hordes of fans from both sides, the majority of whom travelled over the border by train and swilled lager in the Welsh sun.
