But this year's new dress code has thrown a spanner in the works, prohibiting nudity and the more voluminous, dramatic silhouettes. While Hadid has both tested the bounds of and played up to the new rules, Shayk has taken a distinctly refined approach. The supermodel stepped out for the evening gala screening of Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning at the Grand Théâtre Lumière, wearing an Yves Saint Laurent fall 1998 black velvet gown, with an undulating faille skirt and boatneck, sheer tights, and black stiletto pumps.
