The Dude does not abide by the Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) practices.
While visiting *Jimmy Kimmel Live* on Tuesday, Jeff Bridges summoned his legendary *Big Lebowski *character to call out the government agency over its "aggression" and to urge the world to "calm the f--- down," please.
"Hey, world! The Dude here," Bridges said, speaking directly into the camera as he donned a cardigan and held onto his character's beloved White Russian cocktail. "Can we just all calm the f--- down? I mean, come on, I'm talking about all the wars, the fighting, the cancelling, I mean, let's just chill out man, come on."

And, while he was at it, the Oscar-winning actor encouraged the everybody to "tone it down" a little bit.
"We're at like, what, a nine? We oughta be at zero. Or zero and a half *max*, right, Guillermo?" Bridges asked as the camera cut over to Jimmy Kimmel's cohost, who was sporting his own Dude cardigan.
"You're right, Mr. Big Lebowski!" Guillermo happily replied.

But Bridges wasn't done sharing his much-needed Dude-isms with the world just yet, turning his attention to the ongoing and increasingly hostile immigration raids being conducted by ICE across the country. That includes in Los Angeles, which is not only Bridges' hometown but also where *Jimmy Kimmel Live* is filmed.
"ICE! Let's get ICE off our streets and into our beverages. This aggression will not stand, right?" the 75-year-old said, quoting one of his most famous lines from the film. "So let's just abide together. We can do this."
Turning to Kimmel, he added, "Now that's just like, my opinion, but it's a good one, don't you think?"

"That's a pretty great opinion," Kimmel agreed, clinking his glass against Bridges' in a toast. "Thank you, Dude."
Bridges is the latest celebrity to raise his voice against ICE and its aggressive tactics which, over the last few days in Illinois alone, have seen immigration agents fire pepper balls and tear gas at protestors and conduct large-scale raids that have separated children from their families.
His condemnation came less than a week after Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed that ICE will be present at the Super Bowl. "I think people should not be coming to the Super Bowl unless they're law-abiding Americans who love this country," she said.
The 53-year-old made her announcement just days after Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny was confirmed as the NFL's halftime headliner. Bad Bunny, whose full name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, has previously expressed concerns that his U.S. concerts would become the target of ICE raids, prompting him to skip the country on his *DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS *World Tour.
"There was the issue of — like, f---ing ICE could be outside [my concert]," he told i-D at the time. "And it's something that we were talking about and very concerned about."**
