THE father who allegedly murdered his wife and three daughters on Sunday has been charged with first-degree murder.

Maher Kassem, 63, is accused of capturing Majeda Kassem, 53, twins Halema Kassem and Hanan Kassem, 25, and Zahia Kassem, 24, lifeless at an Illinois house.

He was charged with four counts of first-degree murder on Tuesday, in line with the Prepare dinner Nation State's Lawyer's Office.

"Words can't describe how deeply saddened I'm at this horrible tragedy," Tinley Park Mayor, Michael Glotz, stated in a press release.

Members of the group came together on the Mosque Basis in Bridgeview for a prayer to honor the 4 ladies, reported CBS News.

Funeral providers and a vigil for the women have been held on Tuesday evening.

Kassem will probably be again in courtroom on February 16.
