Harry Hepworth listened to the accolades that were being lavished on him and the list of records he had set after he became the first British man to win a medal in the Olympic vault event, then a smile of disbelief began to play across his face. Hepworth, 20, won a dramatic bronze in the final event of the afternoon on Sunday to gild a day which had already seen him become the first Briton to take part in the rings final.
