Cincinnati Reds rookie Tyler Callihan made the ultimate sacrifice during Monday's game against the Atlanta Braves. The 24-year-old's season may be over before it truly had chance to begin after he suffered a gruesome injury during the Reds' 4-0 loss. The left fielder broke his left forearm while attempting a sliding catch. To add insult to injury the play turned into an inside-the-park home run. Reds manager Terry Francona said Callihan, who only made his major league debut for the Reds last Wednesday, would be sent back to Cincinnati on Tuesday for surgery to set the arm.
