The NFL is heading into its influencer era.

Week 1 continues on Friday night as the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers head to Brazil to battle in the league's second annual Sao Paulo game – but it comes with a twist.

The game will be streamed on YouTube.

That's right. Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert are set to lead their teams into the season on a platform that also boasts travel vlogs, recipe tutorials and hilarious meme material.

It's a continuation of the NFL's expansion into new media. They've already taken advantage of streaming platforms with games on Peacock, Prime Video, Netflix, ESPN+ and more – but those games almost always came with a price.

On Friday night, you can throw aside your cable package or streaming service and catch this Week 1 contest for free. Just don't be surprised if, in typical YouTube fashion, someone doesn't ask you, jokingly, to like and subscribe – or to be sure to hit the notification bell so you never miss a video.

Turns out, we really are entering a brand new media world. Here's how you can watch the NFL Brazil game.

Where to watch Chargers vs. Chiefs -

Live stream: YouTube, YouTube TV

TV (only in Kansas City and Los Angeles markets): KSHB 41 (KC) | NBC4 Los Angeles (LA)

Date: Friday, Sept. 5

Time: 7 p.m. ET (8 p.m. ET kickoff)

NFL fans across the globe can catch the Chargers battle the Chiefs in Brazil on YouTube for free or with a YouTube TV subscription. Pregame coverage beings at 7 p.m. ET with kickoff slated for 8 p.m. ET.

You can access the game through the YouTube app on your smart TV or mobile device.

Rich Eisen will handle the play-by-play and Kurt Warner will join him in the booth to provide analysis. Stacy Dales reports from the sidelines in a traditional sense, while YouTube highlights its creators by installing Donald "Deestroying" De La Haye in the same role.

Kay Adams anchors the pre- and post-game coverage on-site with former NFL MVP Cam Newton, along with appearances from other NFL players and YouTube personalities.

BURTON, Staffordshire (AP) — John Stones has been ruled out of England's World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia with a muscle injury.

The Manchester City defender left the national team training camp on Friday, with head coach Thomas Tuchel saying he could not be risked for the upcoming games.

Stones played in all three of City's Premier League games this season, but Tuchel said he was carrying an injury when reporting for England duty.

"He came with minor issues, muscular issues, to camp and didn't progress as we thought and hoped he would, so he left camp this morning because we will not take the risk, not against Andorra and also unfortunately not against Serbia," Tuchel said Friday.

England plays Andorra at Villa Park on Saturday and Serbia in Belgrade on Tuesday.

Tuchel said captain Harry Kane would play against Andorra, insisting he would take no chances as he attempts to secure World Cup qualification.

"It's World Cup season. We have a condensed period of three camps (until the end of qualifying)," he said. "Competition is on, and that means we will start with the team that we trust and with the best team possible for this game, and then we will manage the second game."

A groom on TikTok is going viral after his bride-to-be shared a video of him showing off a customized wedding invitation for LeBron James

"To his highness, Sr. King LeBron James," the invitation reads. "You are cordially invited to attend the union of Olivia and Dom"

Olivia Talmage spoke exclusively to PEOPLE about her fiancé's invitation and their brush with viral fame

A groom-to-be is going viral online for his efforts to get LeBron James on the guest list for his wedding.

Dominic Adomakoh, 26, is set to marry Olivia Talmage, 26, in an Italian destination wedding in April 2027. When he does so, he'd like to see the NBA star sitting on his side of the venue.

Talmage shared a video of him preparing a customized invitation for James, which amassed more than 1.3 million views in just over a week on TikTok.

"I'm just sitting here casually, I look over, and he is creating a personalized invite to our wedding for LeBron James," she said in the clip before turning the camera toward Adomakoh, who said, "See you there, gang."

The invitation featured a photoshopped image of the basketball star holding a sword while wearing his Los Angeles Lakers uniform. James appears to be walking toward the viewer with a burning flame lit behind him.

"To his highness, Sr. King LeBron James," the invitation read. "You are cordially invited to attend the union of Olivia and Dom. If you feel so inclined to take the place of the bride, that is more than welcome, King. We are very excited to see you there."

Adomakoh signed the invite, "Sincerely, Dom."

Olivia Talmage

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE, Talmage says that her fiancé is a longtime fan of James.

"He admires his talent and the way he has lived up to the enormous expectations placed on him from such a young age, something few athletes achieve," she explains. "He also finds LeBron's personality entertaining. He loves that LeBron sometimes exaggerates stories or gives unusual answers in interviews because it makes him laugh."

She adds that she didn't initially believe Adomakoh when he mentioned inviting James. She realized how serious he was when she saw a draft for the invite, which she says he spent "about an hour" finessing.

"We had heard of people sending wedding invitations to celebrities and occasionally getting a response, but seeing a personalized invite to LeBron completely surprised me. I laughed so hard when I saw it," she says.

With her TikTok surpassing 1 million views online, James' invite has been seen by a lot of people. However, the couple hasn't sent it directly to the NBA star yet — but they plan to.

Talmage says that Adomakoh "plans on sending it to a few different places including LeBron's p.o. box and the Lakers facility."

As for their brush with viral fame, the bride-to-be explains that this video was "so special" since people have almost universally responded positively.

"I have had videos go viral before, and sometimes the internet can be harsh," she admits, adding that in this case "the comments were kind, supportive and lighthearted."

She continues, "People loved the humor behind the invite. I loved that it went viral because it gave people a snapshot of our relationship, which is full of love but also a lot of laughter since we truly are best friends."

The couple's relationship started when they met during their first year at Rollins College in Orlando, Fla.

"We both played soccer and had a class together, and we have been inseparable since the very beginning," she gushes.

Their wedding will see them and their loved ones traveling across the globe to Italy. However, Adomakoh popped the question in another special location — Barbados, where he was born.

Love movies? Live for TV? USA TODAY's Watch Party newsletter has all the best recommendations, delivered right to your inbox. Sign up now and be one of the cool kids.

Whether you love Stitch, Jenna Ortega or killer sharks, there's a little something new for everyone on your favorite streaming services.

The fall movie season is here, but if you're not feeling a trip to the cinema and want to enjoy that pumpkin spice latte with a movie at home, there's fresh stuff hitting Disney+, Paramount+, Apple TV+ and more. There's the latest Spike Lee joint, a live-action redo of a Disney classic and a dark Paul Rudd comedy that will have you questioning any and all bromances.

Here are 10 new and notable movies you can stream right now:

'Dangerous Animals'

Jai Courtney plays a serial killer who uses sharks as his primary murder method in the horror movie "Dangerous Animals."

Slasher flicks and shark movies go together like peanut butter and jelly. And Jai Courtney is a nasty piece of work in this gonzo thriller as a serial killer who kidnaps women and feeds them to finned beasts for his murderous pleasure. That is, until he nabs a nomadic surfer (Hassie Harrison) who turns out to be one tough cookie.

Where to watch: Shudder

'Friendship'

Craig (Tim Robinson) forms a bond with his neighbor, local weatherman Austin (Paul Rudd), that grows sour in the dark comedy "Friendship."

Tim Robinson's Everyman awkwardness fuels this cringe-worthy dark comedy. Craig (Robinson) is a marketing executive without any real pals when he meets his neighbor, life-of-the-party weatherman Austin (Paul Rudd). They strike up a bond, Craig's oddball behavior sours his bud, and their friendship goes spectacularly off the rails.

Where to watch: HBO Max

'Hell of a Summer'

Billy Bryk (left) and Finn Wolfhard write, direct and also star in the camp-set slasher horror comedy "Hell of a Summer."

"Stranger Things" stalwart Finn Wolfhard sticks with the horror genre for his directorial debut, a Gen Z coming-of-age slasher comedy set at summer camp. Fred Hechinger stars as a 20-something mocked by his fellow camp counselors for being too old, but they all have bigger issues than ageism when a killer starts hunting them.

Where to watch: Hulu

'Highest 2 Lowest'

Music mogul David King (Denzel Washington, far right) goes to desperate lengths to help a kidnapped boy in Spike Lee's crime thriller "Highest 2 Lowest."

This reimagining of Akira Kurosawa's "High and Low" is an intensely watchable reunion of two old friends, Spike Lee and Denzel Washington. A New York music mogul (Washington) faces a moral dilemma when he has to choose between preserving the future of his label or saving the kidnapped son of a loyal childhood friend (Jeffrey Wright).

Where to watch: Apple TV+

'KPop Demon Hunters Sing-Along'

Fans can get down with all those catchy Huntrix songs in a new way with Netflix's "KPop Demon Hunters Sing-Along."

From all those social media posts to being the most watched Netflix movie ever, the animated "KPop Demon Hunters" is summer's most talked-about cinematic phenomenon. Even adults dig it! And now that you've got "Golden" and "Soda Pop" stuck in your head, sing them alongside your kids with this lyric-filled new edition.

Where to watch: Netflix

'Lilo & Stitch'

Maia Kealoha (right), as Lilo, goes nose-to-nose with her adopted furry blue alien Stitch in Disney's live-action remake of "Lilo & Stitch."

Did we really need another "Lilo & Stitch"? Probably not, because the original 2002 cartoon is still a standout in the Disney canon. But if you love heartwarming sibling shenanigans, it's worth a watch to see furry menace Stitch cause chaos in the lives of rebellious 6-year-old Lilo (Maia Kealoha) and her big sister/guardian Nani (Sydney Agudong).

Where to watch: Disney+

'On Swift Horses'

A Korean War veteran (Will Poulter, left) dreams of starting a new life with his wife (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and his brother (Jacob Elordi) in the 1950s-set romantic drama "On Swift Horses."

In this 1950s melodrama, Korean War vet Lee (Will Poulter) wants to move from Kansas to California to begin a new life with wife Muriel (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and brother Julius (Jacob Elordi). But Julius winds up in Vegas in a romance with a fellow casino employee (Diego Calva) while Muriel has her own secret dalliance with a neighbor (Sasha Calle).

Where to watch: Netflix

'Thunderbolts*'

Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan, far left), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), John Walker (Wyatt Russell) and Red Guardian (David Harbour) are the unlikely supergroup of Marvel's "Thunderbolts*."

Like a superhero "Bad News Bears," the Marvel super-team adventure stars Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Sebastian Stan and Wyatt Russell as a misfit crew of B- and C-list players from other movies. They not only save the day but also juggle bleak darkness and inspired humor in a surprisingly moving exploration of mental health.

Where to watch: Disney+

'The Thursday Murder Club'

A rookie British cop (Naomi Ackie, center) befriends a group of elderly amateur sleuths (Celia Imrie, Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and Ben Kingsley) in "The Thursday Murder Club."

Richard Osman's cozy British murder mystery novel gets an endearing adaptation. Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and Ben Kingsley play wannabe detectives who try to crack cold cases for fun. Just as they're indoctrinating a new member to their club (Celia Imrie), a real whodunit arises when the guy who owns their retirement home is bludgeoned to death.

Where to watch: Netflix

'Winter Spring Summer or Fall'

"Wednesday" costars Jenna Ortega and Percy Hynes White reunite for a slice-of-life teen romance. Remi (Ortega) is a talented student with Harvard dreams, Barnes (White) is a Talking Heads obsessive not even thinking about college, and the unlikely couple falls in and out of love, again and again, over four seasons.

Where to watch: Paramount+

NEW YORK — In most instances, whether in team or an individual sport, whenever you pit a 22-year-old in peak physical condition against a 38-year-old who may or may not be on his last legs, the results tend to favor the younger athlete.

Because Father Time has laid down the hammer on other athletes approaching four decades in age many instances before, with the notable exceptions of LeBron James and Tom Brady, and most recently at the US Open, the incomparable Venus Williams, ordinary athletes tend to call it a day when their skills have diminished to the point where it's no longer feasible to watch them compete.

But Novak Djokovic is no ordinary athlete.

And what he is doing at this stage in his career is borderline absurd.

He is the oldest player ever to reach all four Grand Slam semifinals in a single year, and tennis' version of Gumby is aiming for his 25th Grand Slam champion and his first since winning at Flushing Meadows in 2023, the last of his four victories here.

Leading up to Friday's star-studded semifinal against Carlos Alcaraz, the No. 2 seed, Djokovic's aching body has felt the impact, especially this year.

Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz during practice at Wimbledon in June.

He had to retire in the Australian Open semifinals due to a left leg muscle tear. At the French Open, the same leg gave him issues against Jannik Sinner, and at Wimbledon, it was his groin that gave him fits. He lost all three Grand Slams this year in the semifinal round.

But Djokovic acknowledges the task before him as he prepares for his 53rd Grand Slam semifinal, and the two days off after dispatching Taylor Fritz in the quarterfinals will do him some good.

Against Fritz, Djokovic at times was breathing heavily and even slumping over with his hands on his knees after chasing down some of Fritz's strong forehand rallies.

"It's not going to get easier; I tell you that," Djokovic said. "I'm going to try to take one day at a time, really take care of my body, try to relax and recover. The next couple of days is really key for me to really get my body in shape and ready to battle five sets if it's needed.

"I just would really love that, would love to be fit enough to play—and to play potentially five sets with Carlos. I know that my best tennis is going to be required, but I'd rise to the occasion."

Alcaraz's motivation against Djokovic, who has spent a record 428 weeks ranked No. 1, is simple.

"I know he's hungry. I know his ambition for more. I know I played a lot of times against him. I really want revenge," Alcaraz said. "That's obvious."

1 / 7Tennis stars' best facial expressions during 2025 US OpenRaphael Collignon follows through on a serve against Jiri Lehecka during their men's singles match on day six of the 2025 U.S. Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York on Aug. 29, 2025.

Djokovic has the upper hand in their head-to-head battle, 5-3, against Alcaraz, having emerged victorious in four sets at the Australian Open quarterfinals and the epic gold medal match at the Paris Olympics last summer.

Alcaraz, the 2022 US Open champion, has lost only twice since April and hasn't dropped a set in the tournament. He spent less than two hours on the court in his dismantling of Jiri Lehecka in the quarterfinals.

The key to his success has been his serve. Alcaraz has won 99% of his service games and 84% of his first serves, putting his opponents at an immediate disadvantage. Alcaraz scoring with his second serve is even better, winning at a 68% clip, far and away the tournament's best, with 33% of those being unreturned.

"I've been improving myself a lot, and just every practice, every match I've been trying to feel more comfortable with the movement, with hitting good serves, and the percentage as well for me, it's really important," he said.

Alcaraz has said that he lost his focus when Djokovic was injured at the Australian Open and that he learned from the experience. However, the psychological aspect of the game will likely come into play, and whoever is mentally the toughest might emerge victorious.

Another accolade is at stake for Alcaraz; by winning the US Open, he will reclaim the No. 1 spot in the ATP Rankings, but in the meantime, he will spend some time on the links with fellow Spaniard Sergio Garcia in between the highly anticipated match.

"I started to play at the beginning of 2020. I just feel really peaceful when I go out and playing some golf on the golf course," said Alcaraz, a five-time Grand Slam champion. "For me, it's a privilege to have time to play some golf, to be honest."

That peace and quiet reserved for the golf course will come to a quick end at what's expected to be a rowdy Arthur Ashe Stadium crowd on Friday afternoon, where two of the sport's greatest battle in what's expected to be another instant classic.

LONDON (AP) — Every quarterfinal ticket at the Women's Rugby World Cup has been punched except one.

It's a shootout between Australia and the United States on Saturday.

They are in this predicament because last weekend they drew 31-31 in York. Australia blew a nine-point lead with 13 minutes to go then missed a late conversion to win the game.

Australia still has the inside running. It will advance if it can take a bonus point off England in Brighton by scoring four tries or losing within seven points. Beating England would be a monumental upset.

England has a 7-0 record against the Wallaroos. England has reverted to the side which beat the United States 69-7 on opening night. Unbeaten for three years, England has scored less than 40 points just once this year, 38-5 against Italy in its first match of 2025.

"We're going in with the mindset of winning," Australia co-captain Emily Chancellor said.

The U.S. faces Samoa in York for the second time ever needing a bonus-point win and to overcome a minus-62 points differential. That's a tall order, too. The Eagles haven't scored 50-plus at a World Cup in 15 years.

The Eagles and Wallaroos were quarterfinalists in 2022.

England, Canada, New Zealand, France, Scotland, Ireland and history-making South Africa have all secured quarterfinal places.

Key matchups

The New Zealand-Ireland Pool C decider on Sunday in Brighton is another popcorn matchup. The six-time champion Black Ferns have lost only twice in World Cup history - to the U.S. in the 1991 semifinals and to Ireland in the 2014 pool stage.

Ireland beat New Zealand for a second time last September at WXV 1 by 29-27 in Vancouver.

There are two more matches between quarterfinal-bound teams; Canada-Scotland on Saturday and France-South Africa on Sunday.

Canada is unbeaten this year and hasn't lost to Scotland in 31 years. The loser likely faces England in the quarters.

Les Bleues are unbeaten in five matches against the Springbok Women. But Italy was unbeaten against the Boks, too, until last Sunday.

Players to watch

England wing Jess Breach plays her 50th test. She has never lost. Breach has a co-RWC-high eight line breaks and passed 50 tries in her career with a hat trick against Samoa last weekend.

New Zealand flanker Jorja Miller has beaten 17 defenders, more than any player in the RWC, and has seven line breaks, more than any forward.

Goalkicking lock Sophie de Goede has, with 262 points including 12 tries, passed Magali Harvey as Canada's all-time leading scorer.

South Africa wing Ayanda Malinga is the only player to carry for more than 300 meters (357) in the RWC. She's averaging 19.8 meters.

Australia co-captain Siokapesi Palu makes her first appearance since a foot injury in July. Palu was also at the 2022 RWC but didn't play.

Quotes

"We have our eyes on the prize. Samoa should be a fun team, but we need to put points through, and hopefully England really give it to Australia." — U.S. center Ilona Maher

In a old school man's game, I'm bringing a bit of Barbie to the party. ... I won't be changing." — Wales forward Georgia Evans responds to online criticism of her appearance

"I actually punched him." — England No. 8 Alex Matthews' reaction to being named stand-in captain by coach John Mitchell

"You get another Serevi but you also don't get the same one. I think I play defense better than my dad ever did." — Fiji lock Asinate Serevi, daughter of the great Waisale Serevi

"I'm hoping we come out on top but I've asked the girls to come off (the pitch) crawling." — Wales coach Sean Lynn on facing Fiji
