USC football gets a much-needed off week ahead of a gauntlet of tough games on the schedule.
Following a 34-32 road loss to Illinois in Week 5, the Trojans have a week to regroup and improve ahead of bouts against Michigan and Notre Dame.

USC's offense has been impressive this season, as quarterback Jayden Maiava has thrown for 1,587 yards with 11 touchdowns to one interception in five starts, also rushing for four scores. He threw for 364 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to the Fighting Illini.
Coach Lincoln Riley hasn't quite taken USC back near the top of college football, with a 30-15 record through five games of his fourth season in Los Angeles. The Trojans will certainly look take the extra time to prepare for their upcoming big games.

USC is off in Week 6 of the college football season, as it receives an extra week to prepare for its upcoming game against Michigan.
It's USC's first off week of the season, as it has another off week on Oct. 25, ahead of its road contest against Nebraska on Nov. 1.
USC hosts the Wolverines on Saturday, Oct. 11, before traveling to Notre Dame, Indiana, to face Notre Dame on Oct. 18.
