Rosie O'Donnell is asking for support amid her daughter's legal troubles.

The former host of *The View* asked for prayers after her 28-year-old daughter, Chelsea, was sentenced to prison time.

"I have compassion for those struggling with addiction- Chelsea was born into addiction and it has been a painful journey for her and her four young children," O'Donnell tells ** in a statement. "We continue to love and support her through these horrible times. Prayers welcomed."

O'Donnell also shared a childhood photo of Chelsea on Instagram on Wednesday.

"My child chelsea belle - before addiction took over her life," the comedian wrote in her caption. "I loved her then i love her now as she faces a scary future- prayers welcomed- #addiction awareness #love #family."

Chelsea was sentenced to prison time after her probation was revoked on Oct. 22, according to court records reviewed by EW. An attorney for Chelsea O'Donnell did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.

Chelsea was arrested three times between September and November 2024 on multiple drug charges. She pleaded guilty to one felony count of possessing methamphetamine, one felony count of bail jumping, and one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer.

The comedian's daughter was originally sentenced to two years probation for each count, and had two additional charges dismissed: a felony count of narcotic drug possession and a misdemeanor count of drug paraphernalia possession.

At the time of Chelsea's original sentencing, Rosie O'Donnell responded with a statement to EW. "Chelsea is currently in a drug rehabilitation program and doing quite well," she wrote. "I am very proud of her progress — we (her family) support and love her very much and are grateful for the opportunity she has to improve her health and find a way to live a life of sobriety."

Court records show that Chelsea was ordered to two weeks in jail after inappropriate misconduct on Sept. 9. She was terminated from the Marinette County Treatment Drug Court program on Sept. 24. The Marinette County Treatment Drug Court did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.

Born in 1997, Chelsea was adopted by O'Donnell and her then-partner, Kelli Carpenter, who also coparent Parker, Blake, and Vivienne. She left home at 17, relocating to Wisconsin to reconnect with her birth mother, Deanna Micoley (née Neuens). Chelsea has four children.

The actress' daughter also filed to legally change her last name to Neuens — her birth mother's maiden name — after being removed from Rosie's will in January.
