Anne Hathaway tried out Sabrina Carpenter's fuzzy pink handcuffs during the pop star's concert at Madison Square Garden on Sunday.
Carpenter returned to New York City for the final leg of her Short n' Sweet Tour. During her performance of "Juno," during which she "arrests" an audience member for "being too hot," she stopped none other than the princess of Genovia herself.**
When Carpenter asked where she was from, the *Princess Diaries* star responded, "Genovia," eliciting cheers from the crowd.
"Has anyone ever told you that you look like a princess?" Carpenter said. "I'm in the presence of a princess, I'm getting so flustered ... Anne, can I arrest you for being the most perfect princess in the world? This song's for Anne, everybody!"
The "Espresso" singer handed her iconic handcuffs to Hathaway, who gave the cuffs a kiss as Carpenter launched into "Juno." The exchange was captured by fans and shared on social media.

Hathaway has shared her love for the "Tears" artist in the past. She sang a rendition of "Please Please Please" in an Instagram post to promote young voter turnout in the 2024 presidential election.
"Please, please, please stay on the line / Please, please, please, especially at UPenn and Temple just wait out your time / Voting is magic but also annoying / You waited out this long, let's make it not boring / Oh please, please, please, hold the line," she sang in the now-deleted video.
