Mark Wahlberg's former Beverly Hills mansion has hit the market for $22 million

The actor and his family lived in the home until 2013, and the custom two-level gym he built there still stands

The listing comes three years after Wahlberg, his wife Rhea and their four children left California and put down roots in Nevada

Mark Wahlberg's former Los Angeles mansion is making a return to the market!

The sprawling Beverly Hills property was first purchased by Wahlberg, 54, in 2001 for roughly $5 million, The Wall Street Journal previously reported. Despite giving it a full remodel — including the addition of a two-level gym — he officially sold it for $10.3 million in 2013, property records show.

Since then, the nearly 14,000-square-foot property has been on and off the market. It most recently listed for sale on Sept. 3 for $21.8 million.

Spread out across 1.7 acres of land, the estate includes seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and a separate two-bedroom guest house. The backyard boasts an extensive deck that offers sweeping canyon and greenery views.

Aaron Kirman and Daniel Milstein of Christie's International Real Estate Southern California currently hold the listing.

Looking inside the home, the sleek kitchen features a large center island with barstool seating and a built-in sink. An additional seating area and wine cellar are also offered in the space, as well as direct access to the deck.

The spacious dining room is centered around a floor-to-ceiling window, offering stunning nature views for residents to enjoy while dining.

In the primary bedroom, indoor/outdoor living is encouraged with retractable sliding glass doors that overlook the lush landscape. The space also includes two walk-in closets with a dressing room.

The spa-like bathroom is equipped with a vanity area, freestanding shower and a soaking tub.

Outside, Wahlberg's custom two-level gym still stands, featuring a full-size boxing ring and basketball court. Another impressive amenity is the spacious home theater equipped with a wet bar and fireplace.

The resort-style pool offers a refreshing escape with a waterfall and slide feature. There are also putting greens, a wood-burning fireplace and expansive outdoor seating areas offered on the property.

In the midst of listing this home for sale, Wahlberg and his family — wife Rhea and their four children — were settling into another home in Beverly Park that they custom-built. The actor purchased that property for $8.25 million in 2009 and completed the compound's construction in 2014.

The home officially sold for $55 million in February 2023, after Wahlberg and his family decided to leave California and put down roots in Nevada in 2022.

During an exclusive interview with PEOPLE in March 2024, Wahlberg explained that his and his wife's decision to move away from California was mainly for the benefit of their kids.

"It's a place where my kids can thrive and do their thing and pursue their interests," he said of his family's new home base at the time.

Wahlberg and his wife — who married in August 2009 — share daughters Ella, 22, and Grace, 15, as well as sons Michael, 19, and Brendan, 16.
