The Baltimore Ravens continue to battle injuries amid the team's 1-3 start. After missing the past two games due to a neck injury, Pro Bowl defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike was ruled out for the rest of the 2025 NFL season, head coach John Harbaugh announced Monday.

Harbaugh announced the news, but was hesitant to provide details on the injury, saying Madubuike would address the issue "in his time."

It's a significant loss for the Ravens. Madubuike, 27, is among the best players on the team. After being selected by the team in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, Madubuike developed into one of the best defensive tackles in the game. He's made the Pro Bowl in each of the past two seasons and registered a sack in both games this season prior to his injury.

In addition to losing Madubuike for the season, Harbaugh announced defensive end Broderick Washington would miss at least four games due to an ankle injury. The team placed Washington on Injured Reserve on Saturday.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson, who left the team's Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs due to a hamstring injury, was too injured to return to the contest, Harbaugh confirmed Monday. Jackson left the game in the fourth quarter with the injury, though some speculated the team was holding him out due to the Chiefs leading by three scores. Harbaugh said that was not the case, and "there was no way [Jackson] could have gone back in the game."

It's unclear if Jackson will miss additional time due to the injury.

After winning 12 games last season, the Ravens find themselves at 1-3 heading into Week 5. The team hasn't played the easiest schedule to open the season, taking losses to the Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions, three of the best teams in the NFL.
