- Marvel surprised New York Comic Con with a look at 'VisionQuest,' which is the final chapter in the 'WandaVision' trilogy.

- The footage confirmed new casting, including Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd, a.k.a. Wanda and Vision's now-grown son.

- "Red Vision gave White Vision all of his memories, including all of his memories from within the hex," Paul Bettany said.

Marvel TV's New York Comic Con panel closed out with an extra special peek at *VisionQuest*,, the upcoming Disney+ series starring Paul Bettany.

Brad Winderbaum, the head of Marvel TV, confirmed for the gathered crowd that this show will be "the third part of the trilogy started by [series creator] Jac Shaeffer in *WandaVision* and *Agatha All Along*." He then brought out Bettany himself to reveal early footage just for the room.**

*Star Trek: Picard*'s final season showrunner Terry Matalas now spearheads *VisionQuest*, which follows Bettany's "White Vision," the weaponized copy of the original Vision created to destroy Wanda during *WandaVision*. James Spader's Ultron, who's basically the android's father, will also return for the show about this new Vision facing an identity crisis as he grapples with the memories of the original.

"Red Vision gave White Vision all of his memories, including all of his memories from within the hex," Bettany explained, while confirming that White Vision is having "difficulty connecting to them." The journey for the season, he continued, will be White Vision's "attempt to connect to those memories and who he was...but with lasers!"

Continuing the reality-warping vibes of *WandaVision* and *Agatha All Along*, the *VisionQuest* footage revealed another trippy setting. Vision walks into a giant mansion where he meets personifications of various programs, including Henry Lewis as D.U.M.-E, Jonathan Sayer as U, James D'Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., and Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H.

It appears to be playing out inside Vision's mind, as his android brain attempts to grapple with his memories.

Spader's Ultron also appears in both his CG metallic form, as seen in 2015's *Avengers: Age of Ultron*, as well as a James Spader-looking human form to toy with Vision.

The biggest reveal, however, came at the end. Vision and Ultron look upon CCTV footage of a man played on the show by actor Ruaridh Mollica. He identifies himself as Thomas Shepherd, better known as the grown-up version of Wanda and Vision's magically created son, Tommy. Jett Klyne prominently played Billy's brother as a kid on *WandaVision*.

On *Agatha All Along*, *Heartstopper*'s Joe Locke portrayed older Billy Maximoff, whose spirit was transferred to the body of teenager Billy Kaplan after Wanda's hex hijinks dispersed. At the end of that spinoff, Billy joined forces with ghost Agatha (Kathryn Hahn) to find his brother.

While Billy is a witch and maintains similar reality-altering powers as his mother, Tommy goes by the name Speed in Marvel Comics and has superspeed like his uncle, Pietro.

*VisionQuest* will arrive on Disney+ next year. Winderbaum teased of Matalas' own vision for the show, "He knows the lore, so if you've been following the MCU all these years, you're going to be very, very rewarded."
