When it comes to smelling Drew Barrymore's toes, Ross Mathews and Sunny Anderson don't get cold feet. **
*The Drew Barrymore Show* cohosts both took turns getting a good whiff of the *Fever Pitch* actress' bare foot during a conversation about how often people should wash their feet on Tuesday's episode of her talk show.**
"Next up, if you have stinky feet — which you don't, Drew, I smelled yours last year, they're divine," Anderson began. Mathews echoed her sentiments, telling the audience, "Drew does not have stinky feet. She's a smell good girl." **
To properly prove her cohosts' point, Barrymore proceeded to pull off her heel and smell her foot. "Great," she said.

Anderson insisted that she "double check" Barrymore wasn't *toe*-tally lying, letting the actress put her foot in her face. Shrugging, she added, "I mean, it smells like a whole lotta nothing." **
And, making sure he wasn't the *sole* person left out, Mathews similarly leaned over and gave Barrymore's foot a quick inhale. "Great," he remarked. "Just great." **
"There's no scent there whatsoever," Barrymore said as she rightfully returned her foot back to its shoe prison. "And believe me, I have other issues. Nobody escapes issues!"

Anderson brought up feet in the first place to discuss a 2019 *Self* magazine article in which foot experts claimed that people need to wash and exfoliate their feet regularly to avoid infections and cut down on odor. **
"My feet are dirty, but they don't smell," Barrymore said, noting that she typically washes her feet once a week. **
After taking a quick survey of the audience, Barrymore selected a woman from the crowd who claimed to never wash her feet and rushed over to discuss hygiene. "I mean, I'm in the shower, isn't it all happening?" Barrymore asked Annie. "I'll tell you this — I have a shower and the few times I've tried to put soap on my feet, I almost died and slipped and fell!"

Annie equated taking the time to scrub one's toes in the shower to a "waste of water," drawing shocked reactions from Anderson and Mathews. "I'm just trying to save the planet," she defended, leading Barrymore to respond, "I'm just trying to save myself!" **
Anderson attempted to conclude the segment by reminding the audience that experts recommend people scrub their toes every day. Poking fun at the foot never-washers, she added, "I can tell y'all ain't got y'all toes sucked, that's what I know for sure."

Barrymore giving her own foot a smell.

Her bold statement caught Mathews off guard, who gripped onto her arm seemingly for support, and led Barrymore to one very important question. "By the way, who does get off from the toe sucking though?" she asked. "I've had it done to me and I'm like, 'Should I pretend like this is turning me on? Because this is stupid!'" **
The actress explained that she hates "looking at their faces with my foot in their mouth," which, yep, definitely does happen when they're sucking your toes. "I'm like, 'I don't want to see you like that,'" Barrymore said, putting her fingers into her mouth to showcase the absurdity of the act. "No thanks!"**
Anderson noted there's a very easy remedy to this problem: "Close your eyes." **
Mathews, however, turned to the crowd and deadpanned: "I just love that she said looking in *their* faces because there have been so many different people."**
