Last Tuesday, a guest died near the Contemporary Resort hotel, just outside the Florida property's Magic Kingdom park.
A representative for Orlando's Orange County Medical Examiner identified the deceased as Summer Equitz, confirming that Equitz had been found dead due to an "apparent suicide."
"The manner of death has been ruled a suicide," the representative wrote in a Thursday morning email to EW, before listing the cause of death as "multiple blunt impact injuries."

Footage began circulating online that seemingly showed officials setting up a white tent on a Contemporary Resort balcony, with reports stating that the body was found on the track of the monorail. Before authorities confirmed the official cause of death, social media users began theorizing that it had been caused by a collusion with the monorail.
The representative emphasized that, contrary to other reports, the Disney guest "was NOT struck by the monorail, so that is erroneous information."
A similar incident occurred in 2016, when a guest reportedly jumped from one of the resort's ledges.
